Capillary action between nylon fiber bundles facilitates strong hydraulic absorption of cell specimens. Cells remain close to the surface and elute more easily.

Breakpoint is engineering in such a way, for the swab head to detach easily in to the tube, yet rigid enough to collect specimens safely.
