Each batch of products is tested for performance using a wide range of aerobic and anaerobic pathogens to ensure adequate recoveries. Lot number/ expiry date and tamper-evident tube ensure complete traceability and sterility.

The Amies medium allows good conservation of beta-hemolytic streptococcus, intestinal pathogenic, and S.aureus for over three days, of N.gonorthoeae for 24 hours
of B.pertussis and Fusobacterium for 48-72 hours.
